Yami's Story

The Beginnings

Yami opened Boba and Berry in 2020 as a solo entrepreneur with big goals. As a new business owner, she had to staff two people at all times: one to take orders, another to prepare drinks and bowls. Things got especially tricky when customers lingered at the counter trying to decide, slowing everything down and making it difficult for her to run her business efficiently.

As a dedicated mom who travels often to support her family, Yami found herself constantly juggling schedules, staffing stress, and her own desire to be present with her family.
